A bespoke mental health practice founded by Accredited Social Worker & EMDR Therapist, Kelly Brack. At Innate Therapy, we are trauma-informed and create a highly personalised and tailored approach that adapts to the unique needs of each client. With our collaborative approach and team of Social Workers, Mental Health Mentors, and Mental Health Practitioners, we align our approach with each person's specific needs, experiences, goals, and preferences.

At Innate Therapy, we align with the key fundamentals of good mental health, which include building capacity, resilience, flexibility, and a strong sense of self. With this approach and understanding, our focus is on offering a wide range of targeted mental health services designed to support growth and well-being, provided by dedicated and client-centered professionals.

We hold a deep, empathic approach in working with our clients. We recognize that each individual has unique needs, and we strive to tailor an approach that meets them. Our services include talk therapies, trauma-focused evidence-based therapies, mental health mentoring, and specialised mental health support.

OUR MISSION

At Innate Therapy, our mission is to create a safe, supportive space where individuals can build functional capacity, emotional resilience, and self-awareness. We take a trauma-informed, client-centered approach, strengths-based approach helping our clients develop the skills and confidence needed to navigate daily life with greater ease and independence. We are committed to delivering high-quality, tailored support within the psychosocial disability, NDIS and mental health space, ensuring our services are uniquely designed to meet the individual needs of each person.

Our therapeutic focus is on enhancing nervous system regulation, emotional processing and regulation, and self-advocacy. Using somatic attunement, trauma-informed, skill-building techniques, and evidence-based interventions, we support individuals in identifying and reshaping unconscious patterns and behaviours that may impact daily functioning, as well as enhancing strengths. We work alongside individuals to strengthen adaptive coping strategies, emotional regulation, interpersonal skills, and practical daily living skills.

At Innate Therapy, we integrate a holistic and strengths-based approach, providing tailored support to improve daily living skills, community participation, and overall well-being. Our goal is to empower individuals with the tools to increase independence, build meaningful connections, and create a sustainable sense of self.
